Dating show fans are eagerly awaiting the new season "Love Island", which will start in spring. The start date and location have now been set.

"Love Island" fans don't have to wait for late summer this year. The RTLzwei dating show will also have a spring season for the first time in 2021. As the broadcaster announced on Thursday (February 11th), the new episodes will be available from March 8th (8:15 pm on RTLzwei). From March 9th, the dome show will be broadcast every Monday to Friday and Sunday at 10:15 p.m. Jana Ina Zarrella (44) is back as a presenter.

In the fifth season, the single men and women will not move into a villa on Mallorca, but will be able to explore a new location on Tenerife for three weeks. The concept remains the same for the additional season: at best, a group of singles can come together to form couples, in order to have the chance of love and 50,000 euros at the end. The viewers have a say in this, they can significantly influence what is happening in the villa via the interactive Love Island app.
