“Love Island” celebrates its season finale on September 27th. Which couples from the dome show are still together?
The current “Love Island” season ends on Monday, September 27th (10:15 pm on RTLzwei). Will the winning couple stay a couple after filming? After all, in the past, most of the winning couples ended only a little later. However, other candidates found each other and are happy to this day.
Samira and Yasin
Samira and Yasin Cilingir are among the most famous “Love Island” couples. They met in the third season in 2019 and took second place behind Sidney Wolf and Vivien Michalla. After taking part, Yasin moved to Samira in Hamburg. In January 2020, they announced the engagement. The announcement of pregnancy followed in July of the same year. They have been parents since December 2020: their son Malik-Kerim was born during a difficult birth. After Mike Heiter (29) and Elena Miras (29) – they took part in 2017, had daughter Aylen in August 2018 and are now separated – the couple now has the second “Love Island” baby.
The wedding in a small circle followed in February 2021. In October 2021 they will move to the “Summer House of the Stars”. The couple describes themselves as very tough in the RTL interview. “We have a little fighter at home, so we fight for him and that motivates us. We are also a married couple who are really strong,” explains Samira.
Stephi and Julian
In the very first season they formed the dream couple: Stephi Schmitz and Julian Diebold met and fell in love in the dome show, and they have even been engaged since 2018. After their “Love Island” participation, the two demonstrated their love in other reality formats. In 2018 they moved to the “Summer House of the Stars”, at the end of 2020 they faced the relationship test at “Temptation Island VIP”. The extreme situations on TV couldn’t harm them. “Four years with you,” wrote Stephanie Schmitz recently with a heart emoji for a happy couple selfie on Instagram.
Greta and Fynn
Paco Herb and Bianca Balintffy emerged as the winning couple in the first “Love Island” spring season at the end of March 2021. With great love, however, it should not come to anything. With Greta Engelfried and Fynn Lukas Kunz, final couple of the fourth season, things went even better. The two are apparently a happy couple to this day and post couple photos on Instagram, most recently at the end of August from their first vacation together in Paris.
Marcellino and Dijana
Did their “Love Island” past weld them together? This couple was simply in the wrong season, but still found each other. Marcellino Kremers, he won the second “Love Island” season with Tracy Candela, and Dijana Cvijetic, she was a candidate in season three, got to know each other better in the first “Battle of the Reality Stars” season and became a couple. “Thank you for the most wonderful year, I look forward to all the rest of the time with you – you are my whole world,” wrote Cvijetic in August 2021 in an Instagram post.
