Vinci Autoroutes and APRR have good news for millions of motorists eligible for holiday vouchers.
Concessionaires and motorway infrastructure operators announce discounts on the price of tolls for the summer holidays, but not everyone will be able to take advantage of them.
20% to 25% additional credit for recharging with holiday vouchers
Vinci Autoroutes announces that users benefiting from holiday vouchers, i.e. around 5 million people, will be able to credit between 20 and 250 euros on their electronic toll badge between June 15 and July 31, and that the sum will be increased by 20%. That is to say that an eligible driver and Ulys subscriber recharging his account with 100 euros will in fact benefit from 120 euros to pay for his toll passages on the entire French motorway network.
Autoroutes Paris-Rhin-Rhône (APRR), number 2 in the sector, has for its part made it known that it is offering a 25% discount. This is available from now until August 31, 2023. On the Vinci model, you must top up your Liber-t Vacances electronic toll subscription badge with your holiday vouchers to benefit from it. The AREA subsidiary (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) is also affected by this measure.

The Minister of Transport, Clément Beaune, has just asked motorway companies to make an effort to help the French go on vacation, while inflation is raging and purchasing power is at half mast. He plans to meet the companies managing the motorways and tolls next week to discuss the “terms”.
Vinci and APRR therefore took the lead. Already last year, a similar system had been put in place, but only up to 10%, and later during the summer, so that families who left in the first weeks could not have been entitled to it.
Clément Beaune, on the other hand, dismissed the idea of making the motorways free this summer, a proposal submitted by the deputy of La France Insoumise (LFI), François Ruffin.
