The words of Gilles Verdez shocked. This Tuesday, December 13, he gave his opinion on fidelity in a couple. Maybe he should have shut up.
This Tuesday, December 13, Cyril Hanouna wanted to react to his columnists on a very intimate subject: infidelity. While Laeticia Hallyday’s recent remarks on his infidelities and those of Johnny Hallyday caused controversy, Matthieu Delormeau then blew that in reality the Taulier and his wife had been a modern couple. Thus, on the set of Do not touch My TV, the columnists revealed whether or not they felt infidelity was part of the couple’s modern view. So, Gilles Verdez took the floor and released this sentence which shocked many of his colleagues: “Loyalty is hard!”. He qualifies all the same his remarks indicating “to disagree with Matthew”.
But now his colleagues fall on him. Starting with Kelly Vedovelli : “It’s maddening what you just said! It’s a shame what you’re saying! Are you crazy or what?”. She then advises him to “leave his wife” if he is not “not happy”. Equally shocked, Jean-Marie Bigard lets go : “If you love the person, there is no place in your heart for another person”, he explains. Faced with the reaction of the columnists, Gilles Verdez questions himself: “Did I say something crazy or what?” To which the comedian replies: “Yes, because if it’s hard, it’s because you constantly fight against it”.

Well known for his romantic escapades, Benjamin Castaldi reacts: “What you are saying Gilles is outrageous. I don’t understand how such a terrible thing can be said on a television set”. Annoyed, Gilles Verdez launches: “You are falling on me for not telling your stories. You with your redemption, it’s bogus. You Raymond in the truck, you’re going to tell…”. A palpable tension which echoes the revelations of Gilles Verdez on his partner Fatou. Indeed, the latter had a good time with a very famous singer! “She was visibly happy to see me again! She had a very nice stay… But I found that she spoke a lot about a great singer: Wally Seck! They spent the evening together, after dinner, he waited for him in the entrance…”

Cyril Hanouna then asked him if he could forgive Fatou for a possible deception. “But she didn’t cheat on me with him! Otherwise I’ll take the first plane to Dakar and I’ll dismantle the guy!” A photo of Wally Seck then appears on the screen : “He has a good style, I really like his jacket! So Wally Seck waited for Fatou, and you’re going to tell me she’s home…”, replies the host. What the columnist completed the sentence by dropping: “empty-handed! Given his state of notoriety, he does not leave his house (…) And there, even she said to me: ‘Do you realize, I usually do not leave my house, it’s unusual for me.’ That surprised me, she knows it! If we are objective, and apart from the friendship you have for me… I largely compete with him!” He replied: “Honestly, you’re way above! You’re way above, but beware all the same!”
