Luca Hänni: In the "Let's Dance" final, "the smallest details matter"

This Friday (May 22nd, 8:15 pm live on RTL, also via TVNow) the grand finale of "Let's Dance" is coming up. Lili Paul-Roncalli (22), Moritz Hans (24) and Luca Hänni (25) fight for the dance trophy. In an interview with the news agency spot on news, Luca Hänni talks about the "strongest finale ever" and reveals why he as a musician can benefit from the dance show.

You are in the "Let's Dance" final. How does that feel?

Luca Hänni: I'm still speechless and extremely grateful to all the fans out there who support me so well every day! I didn't expect to get this far and now I'm actually in the final, just incredible!

What was your favorite dance show?

Hänni: There are some dances that I really like, for example the Jive or the Quickstep. I particularly like it because it is a way to dance out the zest for life, it's just fun and I really like that about it.

When has the frustration been greatest in the past few weeks?

Hänni: The whole time was incredibly time-consuming and very exhausting. Often the rehearsals for the following week continued right the next day after the show. After the show, the dance sits relatively well, but then it was time to forget everything again and get started on the new dance.

What was the most emotional moment for you?

Hänni: The "magic moment" was very emotional because I danced a life story about myself there. It was a contemporary and, of course, feelings play a big role in this dance.

What are your plans for the final?

Hänni: I just want to give everything again with Christina Luft, we train harder than ever and just see how it gets. Ultimately, the audience must be touched so that they can vote for us. We just hope that we can inspire and touch people with our dances.

Which competitor would you treat most to victory?

Hänni: I really treat everyone, we have all made it this far and in my view it is the strongest finale ever. The smallest details really matter and everyone deserves to win.

Will you continue to dance after the show?

Hänni: Definitely. What I was able to learn during this time is incredibly beautiful, I am very happy every day that I can even be part of such a beautiful dance show. I will take a lot with me here and will continue to use it in my shows in the future.

What do you personally take from the show?

Hänni: A lot of dance experience (laughs). I also think cohesion is great, especially in this difficult time. For me this show is an absolute highlight and I will never forget it.
