Lucas Cordalis will move to the jungle camp in 2022. That’s why the singer is looking forward to the celebrity camp.

Lucas Cordalis (54) will move to the RTL jungle camp in 2022 together with Harald Glööckler (56) and Filip Pavlović (27). Season 15 “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” will take place in South Africa. African wilderness instead of rainforest down under – what does the singer think of the new camp? The change of location is not a problem for him – on the contrary, as he makes clear in an interview with RTL: “I’ve never been to South Africa, that’s going to be crazy”, Daniela Katzenberger’s (35) husband is sure. “Nature is one thing, but how it all develops in the camp, whether you make friends there or have people you don’t like at all – that will be a mega challenge and I’m looking forward to it,” he adds in his video message . The trip is a very special one for Cordalis: His late father Costa Cordalis (1944-2019) was the first jungle king ever.

In January 2021, RTL showed the replacement program “I am a star – The great jungle show”, previously the show always took place in Australia. As usual, the new season can be seen in January. Sonja Zietlow (53), Daniel Hartwich (43) and camp favorite Dr. Bob (71) are part of the party. “I’m more than happy, flashed. Yes, I’m really happy!”, Zietlow explained a few days ago in an RTL video. The moderator can gain several advantages from the change of location. “This wonderful air … warm during the day, but dry air, a bit fresher and cooler at night – and just pure nature!” Enthuses the moderator, who is also looking forward to the animal diversity on the African continent.

Busy family

Apparently, Lucas Cordalis will not be bored until he leaves. His wife has on Instagram reveal that the family is busy shooting their own show on TV and “are currently shooting our new season at full speed. I always give it my all and love to be in front of the camera even after all these years,” explains Katzenberger. Nevertheless, she has the feeling that she is often “blabbering empty” and announces that she will therefore take a break from Instagram.
