Wednesday December 27, 2023 on Franceinfo, the 37-year-old actress reacted to the support platform signed by around fifty artists, in favor of the 75-year-old actor currently indicted for rape. The interpreter of Clem also returned to her incisive writings against Victoria Abril, signatory of the text and former playing partner in the TF1 series. The controversy began Tuesday December 26, 2023 on Instagram, when Charlotte Arnould, one of Gérard Depardieu’s accusers, revealed the list of signatories of the platform on the social network. Lucie Lucas then expressed her anger in the comments, revealing long-suppressed tensions. “I’ve been an actress for 15 years and I protect a good number of these degenerate boomers by not saying in interviews all the harm they do to others on a film set […] I have a lot to say about some of the people on this delicious list of co-signers.”she wrote.

During her interview on Franceinfo, Lucie Lucas clarified her comments about Victoria Abril. She explained that the sexual violence she described had not been directed against her, but that she had witnessed it. “It’s not Victoria Abril that I want to accuse. I had this kind of rush of blood. I perhaps allowed myself that, because she’s my cinema mom and I felt deeply betrayed and abandoned”, she added. Beyond the individual, Lucie Lucas denounces an entire generation of actors, highlighting a feeling of impunity among certain personalities, notably those of the generations of Gérard Depardieu and Victoria Abril. She denounces behavior that she considers unacceptable, even illegal, on film sets. To date, Victoria Abril has not reacted to Lucie Lucas’ statements. On the other hand, Kevin Elarbiwho shared the screen with both actresses in the series Clem, defended Victoria Abril on social networks.
