It’s official: The sixth and final season of “Lucifer” starts on September 10, 2021.

Originally “Lucifer” was supposed to end after the 3rd season, then the streaming provider Netflix wanted to draw a line after the 5th season. In June 2020, the announcement of another sixth season followed, but this time it should really be the last. Now Netflix has announced the start date: Tom Ellis (42) and Co. will work towards the grand finale from September 10, 2021.

“Let’s be angry one last time,” it says on the official Twitter account of “Lucifer”. A first trailer was also published, which contains some scenes from the previous seasons.

“Lucifer” is based on a comic book series by Mike Carey. The figure was invented by fantasy legend Neil Gaiman (60), among others, who also provided the template for the film “Der Sternwanderer” (2006) or the series “American Gods” (since 2017).
