Author Lucinda Riley died on the morning of June 11th surrounded by her family. She has been battling cancer for four years.
Lucinda Riley fought cancer for several years. Now she passed away peacefully on the morning of June 11th. The announced the family of the Irish bestselling author on Instagram. According to a report by the daily “Irish Examiner” Riley was 56 years old. “We are very sorry to announce that Lucinda died peacefully this morning, surrounded by her family, who were so important to her,” said a statement from relatives.
Five books in four years
It is known that for many people “who would not have known that Lucinda had been fighting cancer for four years”, it will be a “terrible shock”. During that time, Riley wrote five books. She became known through the series “The Seven Sisters”, the latest part of which, “The Disappeared Sister”, has just appeared.
