Huawei can increase profit significantly
Huawei seems to be slowly but surely catching up. The Chinese company announced its business figures in a press release and announced an important success there. The profit could be made in the 2021 financial year increased by an incredible 76 percent to $17.8 billion. This is so impressive because sales have plummeted. It was “only” 99.9 billion US dollars. That is 28.6 percent less than the year before.
We reported some time ago that Huawei is concentrating heavily on process optimization. For example, only smartphones that are really worthwhile were built. At the same time, however, the company invested many billions in research and developmentso as not to be left behind. There are now 22.4 billion US dollars.
So for Huawei, considering the circumstances, things are going pretty well. The Chinese company has stabilized somewhat and can now deal with the situation well. It remains to be seen whether the smartphone business will return to its old strength. Without Google services, this will be very difficult, especially in Europe. In addition, new smartphones lack the 5G modem.
