Ludwig and Sophie from Bavaria got together with their relatives for a very special family photo shoot.
It’s an exciting year behind Haus Wittelsbach: On May 20, 2023 Ludwig Prince of Bavaria41, his fiancée Sophie-Alexandra Evekink, 34, since the wedding Sophie Princess of Bavaria is called, in Munich Theatinerkirche said yes. A spectacular event for the German noble family. On July 14th, Duke Franz of Bavaria, the head of the Wittelsbach family, also celebrated Great-grandson of the last Bavarian king, his 90th birthday. And in August Deniz became princess and Constantine Prince of Bavaria36, parents for the second time. 2023 is a year the family won’t soon forget!

It’s all the nicer that the Wittelsbachers gathered together in the summer to take a new family photo. They will share the results on Instagram on Wednesday, December 20th. “The entire House of Wittelsbach greets you with all good wishes for Christmas and the New Year 2024. With gratitude we look back on many wonderful occasions, weddings, birthdays and the addition to the family this year,” it says about the family photos. It goes on to explain: “On the occasion of the 90th birthday of the family boss HRH Herzog Francis of Bavaria A family photo was taken in July 2023. The different branches of the family are highlighted in color and given their names.” But that’s not all, there is also “another family portrait” hidden in the photo. As they discover the many details, the House of Wittelsbach wishes its fans “much joy” and “blessed holidays “.
A message that fans of the noble family are visibly happy about. “Blessed Christmas to all these wonderful people who so excellently represent and preserve the traditions of the House of Wittelsbach and Bavaria,” writes one user under the posting. Another comments enthusiastically: “As someone who comes from the former Kingdom of Hanover, I am always impressed by the positive presence of the Wittelsbach family.
