Lukas Podolski and his wife Monika have been married for ten years. For the occasion, the footballer made a cute Instagram post.
Professional footballer Lukas Podolski (36) celebrated his tenth wedding anniversary with his wife Monika on Friday (June 11th). On this occasion, the native Pole posted a picture together with his wife on Instagram with the signature “10 years officially Mr. and Mrs. Podolski”.
He added touching words to the photo, which shows the couple by the sea in Turkey: “Thank you for always backing me, supporting me and encouraging me in my decisions! You are always by my side – no matter where or how far away it is. ” He closed the post by saying that Monika was also “the best mother for our two wonderful children”.
A couple since 2004
Lukas and Monika Podolski met as teenagers and have been a couple since 2004. Four years later – in April 2008, the native Polish became a mother for the first time. She gave birth to their son Louis. After the wedding in 2011, children followed for the second time in 2016 with their daughter Maya.
