Luke Perry would have turned 55 in October, but in 2019 he was torn from life. His “Beverly Hills” co-stars pay tribute to him.

Actor Luke Perry (1966-2019) would have turned 55 on October 11th. But the star, best known for his role as Dylan McKay from the hit series “Beverly Hills, 90210”, died in 2019 at the age of only 52 as a result of a severe stroke. In honor of their dead “friend and big brother”, Tori Spelling (48), Shannen Doherty (50) and Co. shared touching words with their followers on social networks.

Jason Priestley (52) published a joint picture of himself and Perry, that shows how well the two got along outside of the shooting. He wrote: “Today would have been Luke Perry’s birthday. I miss you, my friend … there will never be someone like you again.” Jennie Garth (49) also agrees. with a shared black and white photo – “I miss you, my friend.”

Shannen Doherty (50), suffering from cancer, proves that pictures can say more than a thousand words. She posted an old picture with Perryon which their gaze wanders into the distance together. She just wrote the name of the deceased – “Luke”.

He fought for Tori Spelling

The longest funeral mail wrote Tori Spelling for Perry. Not a day goes by when she does not think of him. “You were the first boy who ever made me feel valuable as a person, as a woman, as a comedian. Like a friend and big brother, you worked fervently for me.” He was even involved in a fight for her to protect her from a violent relationship. “Your energy was pure, selfless love.” As a family man in particular, he showed this again and again: “You always put Jack and Sophie first.”

Also Ian Ziering (57) and Brian Austin Green (48) pay tribute to Perry. “I will always miss you,” Green wrote on a photo of Perry. “Miss you, buddy”, Ziering did the same.
