Lumibird: finalization of the acquisition of the Saab Group’s Defense Laser Rangefinders business

(Boursier.com) — The group Lumibird confirmed the finalization of the acquisition of the Saab Group’s Defense Laser Rangefinders business, following the lifting of all the conditions precedent and in particular the obtaining of regulatory authorizations. The new subsidiary, called Lumibird Photonics Sweden, is located in Gothenburg (Sweden) and represented a turnover of more than 10 ME in 2021.

With this acquisition, Lumibird recalls offering its European Defense customers a wider range of lasers and rangefinders, from short to long range, for increased market coverage. This acquisition also gives immediate access for all products to a wider range of European customers.
