(CercleFinance.com) – Lumibird announces the selection of the HoloDoppler project of its subsidiary Quantel Medical as part of the Health component of France 2030 financed by Bpifrance, for an amount of public aid of 2.8 million euros distributed between Quantel Medical and its partners.
Carried out with major ophthalmology research and hospital centers, including the Quinze-Vingts, this project aims to create a new generation medical device for quantitative and non-invasive eye angiography.
The market for retinal imaging devices is currently estimated at 800 million euros per year. The objective of HoloDoppler is to launch it on the market within four years, with a long-term objective of a market share of around 5%.
