Luna, Amazon’s cloud gaming service, arrives in France


Luna, Amazon’s cloud gaming service, is now available in France with the same features as those offered in the United States. Players thus have access to a varied offering, ranging from mainstream titles to AAA, including retrogaming, on any supported device: Fire TV, PC, Mac, Chromebook, iPhone, iPad and certain smart devices. Amazon Prime members can now play Fortnite, Trackmania and other games on Luna at no additional cost. They can also connect their Ubisoft account to Luna, if they have one.

Amazon offers different subscription options: Luna+ gives access to the largest library of games for €9.99/month; Ubisoft+, to access the publisher’s latest titles as soon as they are released and its numerous franchises for €17.99/month; Jackbox Games for party games at €4.99/month.

Amazon also offers a Luna gamepad. “It connects directly to Luna’s cloud servers via wifi to reduce gaming latency. Thanks to Cloud Direct technology, you can seamlessly switch from one compatible screen to another (from a TV equipped with a Fire TV Stick to mobile phone, for example), without additional pairing or configuration“, specifies the group. It is sold at €69.99, but is currently available at €39.99 on the e-retailer’s website.
