Luna Schweiger revealed her favorite styles at a fashion event in Berlin. Alessandra Meyer-Wölden chatted about her everyday life as a mom.

From February 15, 2024, there will be a state of emergency again in Berlin: numerous stars and starlets will come to the German capital to take part in the 74th edition of the Berlinale. Year after year, the Berlin International Film Festival is an opportunity to dress up when it comes to fashion. If you don’t want to get lost on the red carpet, you have to show courage for extravagance, color and glamour. For Luna Schweiger (27) no problem, as she explains in Berlin in the Deichmann styling lounge. The actress would like to see a greater focus on the latest fashion trends and more high fashion in Germany.

Luna Schweiger likes it “funky and sexy”

“I lived in London for a while and it was totally normal to get all dressed up and look good when going out to eat. To be honest, I miss that a bit here in Germany,” said the actress. Even at events, Til Schweiger’s (60) daughter experiences the fashion styles “still a little more conservative” than is the case in fashion cities like Paris, Milan or New York.

Shoes and bags are extremely important for Schweiger when creating her looks. “I style my looks around my shoes,” she says at the Deichmann event in Berlin. She likes to choose an extravagant shoe for a simple outfit, for example in silver, to make a casual look look “a bit funky and sexy”.

And the actress, who is “currently single again,” also pays attention to the shoes of men. “I really do that every time. I don’t know why, but I definitely always look at my shoes.”

The first Berlinale for Ochsenknecht’s friend Laura Marie Geissler

For racing driver Laura Marie Geissler (25), the fashion scene is still a bit of new territory. This year will be her first time at the Berlinale. She comes with her boyfriend Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (32). However, she cannot yet say whether the two will coordinate outfit-wise. Geissler is currently trying out a lot of new things in terms of fashion. This time, however, she is speaking to a stylist for the red carpet event. “I’ll definitely see how everything develops and how my street style look can somehow be turned into fashion.”

Alessandra Meyer-Wölden between the red carpet and everyday mom life

Alessandra Meyer-Wölden (40) is currently rushing from one event to the next. Last week she went directly from the USA to Vienna for the Opera Ball, which she attended with her ex-husband Oliver Pocher (45) and which, as she herself says, was still on her bucket list. Now we continue with the Berlinale. “It’s really a state of emergency at the moment,” says Meyer-Wölden in Berlin. “That’s definitely not what my everyday life looks like. But now it’s turned out that way professionally and I’m really very grateful for that and I’m trying to get everything organized, which isn’t that easy as a mother of five children.”

The topic of fashion is now gradually playing a larger role with her offspring, especially with her 14-year-old daughter, who she has with Pocher. This is also due to social media. “Well, I think young girls grow up very differently than our generation grew up back then. We didn’t have social media back then,” remembers Meyer-Wölden. The beauty ideals on Instagram, TikTok and Co. would cause enormous pressure on young girls. Meyer-Wölden tries to “keep encouraging” her daughter that these filters and this ideal of beauty are simply not important and that she should remain true to herself.

As far as the 14-year-old’s outfits are concerned, Meyer-Wölden, as a woman and mother, can “identify more when the skirts are a little shorter.” However, when the dad sees his daughter with a cropped tank top and a short skirt, it’s “a moment of shock,” laughs the 40-year-old.
