It’s via a video on his official Twitter account that Omar Sy, the main interpreter of Lupinekicked off the scavenger hunt to find the release date for the show’s next season.

After a succession of billboards indicating a release in 2023, but without the day or the month, the actor announced that he had concealed the famous date “somewhere” on the website of the streaming platform. But where to look?

Warning, spoilers: the rest of this article reveals clues about the treasure hunt.

A first clue can be found directly on the series page Lupinewhere we read the message “Are you looking for Assane? He’s keeping a low profile…”. A sentence that prompts us to click on our profile at the top right of the page, then “Manage profiles”, and finally on the image to modify it. Scrolling down a bit, you’ll come across the series’ profile pictures… which have been edited. They now indicate a sequence of numbers: 3-1-0-2-5-0, as well as an exclamation point.

Once these numbers are put in the right order, we are left with three possible dates:

• 01 / 05 / 23 (Monday May 1, 2023)
• 10 / 05 / 23 (Wednesday, May 10, 2023)
• 05 / 10 / 23 (Thursday, October 5, 2023)

On the side of Digital, the possibility of an October release is quickly eliminated. Such a publicity stunt for such a distant release of the series would be unlikely. So there are two dates left in May.
