Lupin: Six new arrests in the robbery case on the set


Six new suspects were arrested and brought to justice this Thursday, May 12 following the robbery on the set of the Netflix series “Lupin” last February.

These suspects were presented to an examining magistrate according to the parquet floor of the city of Nanterre. Among these six new suspects, there would be two minors who are both 17 years old. Five of them live in Nanterre in the district of Pablo Picasso according to information from the Parisian.

SEVEN OTHER SUSPECTS CHARGED

On February 25, around twenty hooded people attacked Pablo Picasso’s neighborhood in Nanterre where the second season of the Lupin series was filmed. The main actor Omar Sy was even present. Nearly 300,000 euros in loot had been stolen. The team had been attacked with mortar fire, but no injuries had been caused.

Last March, the first seven suspects were arrested and indicted for theft in an organized gang with a weapon and concealment. Most of them were minors. Three had been remanded in custody and four under judicial control.
