Part 3 of “Lupin” arrives this Thursday, October 5 on Netflix. For the occasion, discover a summary of the events that occurred in part 2 of the series carried by Omar Sy.

On Friday June 11, 2021, at 9:01 a.m., Netflix uploaded the 5 episodes of part 2 of Lupine. An explosive new season in which Assane Diop (Omar Sy) faced his sworn enemy Hubert Pellegrini (Hervé Pierre). While part 3 will be uploaded this Thursday, October 5 on Netflix, a little look back is in order!

Pellegrini’s confession

After saving his son Raoul, kidnapped by Leonardo, Pellegrini’s henchman, Assane becomes even more offensive to take revenge on the businessman and prove his misdeeds. He then decides to come up with a daring plan to finally obtain a confession.

To do this, he seduces Juliette Pellegrini (Clotilde Hesme), Hubert’s daughter, in order to manipulate her, and thus introduce himself to the fundraiser organized by the young woman’s family.

Because Hubert Pellegrini planned to divert the money collected to a private account abroad. But what he doesn’t know is that his accountant, Philippe Courbet (Stefan Crepon), is a Lupine fan who was recruited by Assane. He therefore took care to donate the funds to the foundation.

For his part, Assane manages to enter the Châtelet theater, where the charity concert is taking place, in order to confront Pellegrini once and for all. Our modern-day Lupine manages to infiltrate the private dressing room of the formidable businessman.

Threatening him with a knife to his throat, he managed to obtain his confession. Pellegrini has indeed hired Babakar, Assane’s father, to make him take the blame for the theft of the Queen’s necklace, and thus receive a nice sum of money thanks to the insurance.

Assane records the confession on his smart watch to transmit it to the police. A chase ensues in the heights of the theater while the police arrive on the scene to arrest Dumont and Pellegrini.

A hero on the run

If Assane Diop manages to escape from the theater by boat, the hero is not at peace. His numerous crimes and burglaries have made him a criminal in the eyes of the police, and he has no choice but to go on the run.

Before leaving Paris, he meets Claire (Ludivine Sagnier) and Raoul (Etan Simon) on a bridge in Paris. Lupine, who has understood that the life he leads can be dangerous for his son, wants to say goodbye to them and promises to keep an eye on them. He then goes to hide in a place where no one can find him.

Of course, Assane Diop will not be able to stay away from Paris for very long. In part 3, which promises to be much more dangerous, he will return to the capital to try to reconnect with his family. But the ghosts of the past are never far away, and an unexpected return will turn his entire plan upside down.
