France’s most wanted thief is (soon) back. Netflix has just revealed new images from the highly anticipated season 3 of the series Lupine with Omar Sy, which is scheduled for release on October 5 on the streaming platform.

Inspired by the adventures of the thief Arsène Lupine created by Maurice Blanc in 1874, Lupine revitalized the universe of the “gentleman burglar” by placing it in our time.

Created in 2021, the Netflix series has enjoyed strong popularity on Netflix since its launch, ranking at the top of viewings in many countries. Lupine even arrived at the top of the American top 10 on the streaming platform, a first for a French production!

To date, the first season of Lupine is the 3rd most popular international (non-English language) series in the world, with 99.5 million hours watched. Season 2 ranks sixth, with 68.4 million hours.

A popularity which is undoubtedly explained by the effectiveness of the scenario, signed in particular by Fréderic Uzan (Family Business) and George Kay (hi-jack), and by an ambitious staging carried by solid names (Louis Leterrier, Hugo Gélin, Ludovic Bernard, Marcela Said).

Above all, the series owes a lot to its main actor Omar Sy, who enjoys strong sympathy in France and around the world thanks to the films Untouchables And Jurassic World. An implacable cocktail to guarantee the success of the series.
