After a cliffhanger in episode five, fans are eagerly awaiting the continuation of the Netflix hit "Lupine". A start period has now been set.

Netflix brings light into the darkness. The streaming service has specified the start of the continuation of its French hit series "Lupine": In the summer of 2021 there will be five more episodes that will continue to tell the story of master thief Assane Diop alias Omar Sy (43, "Pretty Best Friends"). "This time we made it a little more precise than 'soon'," commented the main actor on the announcement of the launch period in an Instagram post.

"Lupine" was released on January 8th and shortly thereafter landed as the first French series on Netflix's US top 10 list. According to the streaming service, the series was number one in the top 10 in more than ten countries. The five new episodes are directed by Ludovic Bernard ("The Rise") and Hugo Gélin ("Suddenly Papa"). The first part of the first season ended with a massive cliffhanger in episode five.

"Lupine": What is it about?

Assane Diop (Omar Sy) loses his father as a teenager after a wealthy French family suspects him of a crime he did not commit. Inspired by the famous fictional character Arsène Lupine, he wants to avenge his father and so gets caught up in a web of lies and intrigues.
