On June 14, the American actress was honored in Los Angeles by Paramount Pictures and Hollywood Confidential for her many years of work in the film and television industry. She used the opportunity to put herself in the spotlight with producers of romantic comedies. “If I have to audition, I will do it. I’m dying to do a comedy,” Nyong’o said.

Cat videos as proof of suitability

To highlight her relaxed side, she has even started posting silly videos of herself and her cat. “I try to tell executives that I’m funny and that I can be lighthearted and easygoing. First, however, Nyong’o will be back in her usual role. “A Quiet Place: Day One” will be released in theaters on June 27. In Michael Sarnoski’s horror film, a spin-off of 2018’s “A Quiet Place,” she plays Sam. She has to survive an alien invasion in New York City against murderous creatures with extremely keen hearing.
