LVMH: 17% growth in CEO net income in 2022 – 01/26/2023 at 6:03 pm


(CercleFinance.com) – LVMH achieves sales of 79.2 billion euros in 2022, up 23%.

Fashion and Leather Goods posted organic growth of 20%. The Perfumes and Cosmetics business posted sales growth of 17% in 2022 (10% organic). The Watches and Jewelry activity recorded 18% growth in sales (12% organic). The Wines and Spirits business posted sales growth of 19% (11% organic).

Current operating income amounted to 21.1 billion euros, up 23%. The current operating margin remains at the level of 2021.

Net income, Group share amounted to 14.1 billion euros, up 17% compared to 2021. Free cash flow from operations exceeded 10 billion euros.

‘ Europe, the United States and Japan, up sharply, benefited from strong demand from local customers and the resumption of international travel. Asia is stable over the year due to the evolution of the health situation in China ‘indicates the group.

‘With a month of January that got off to a good start and despite an uncertain geopolitical and economic context, LVMH is confident in the continuation of the growth observed in 2022’.
