DECRYPTION – The CEO and main shareholder of the world leader in luxury orchestrates a game of musical chairs and changes the bosses of Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior. He promotes his children and their mentors.

At their best, the two main houses of the LVMH group are changing leaders, at the instigation of its CEO and main shareholder, Bernard Arnault. Louis Vuitton, the first luxury brand in the world (17 billion euros in turnover, according to financial analysts), which alone brings in half of LVMH’s profits, will be led by Pietro Beccari from 1er february. This 55-year-old Italian, with the group since 2006, had been CEO of Christian Dior Couture since February 2018. This last position will now be occupied by Delphine Arnault (47), who had been Deputy Managing Director of Louis Vuitton since 2013, responsible for supervising the all product activities.
