Lyon Struck in the neck with a knife: a man between life and death

Two men, aged 47 and 76, were injured by a man armed with a knife, this Monday, May 23 in Lyon, at the end of the afternoon.

The two attacks, which took place in quick succession, took place at the exit of Vaise station, at Place de Paris, in the 9and Lyon district, according to our colleagues from BFM-Lyon.

Knocked on the neck

The first victim, aged 47, was transported to the Édouard-Herriot hospital between life and death after a blow was struck on his neck. The second victim, 76, was transported to Lyon-Sud hospital, in relative emergency, after a blow to the abdomen.

If the suspect was not found at the scene of the attack, he was however quickly arrested and an investigation is opened. He is on Monday evening in police custody.
