Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior will be a time hack ‘n slash published by Quantic Dream

Ïme is a powerful warrior living in the New Kingdom, a fantastic dimension where gods and monsters are still legion. His power is to go back in time to infinity and fight alongside his temporal doubles, the afterglows. Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior is therefore as much a hack ‘n slash as a tactical puzzle: rather than throwing all weapons out on our enemies, we must first study the map and its possibilities. For example, if an enemy has a big shield, we can send some afterglows to distract him before going back in time and planting our saber in his back. In writing, it’s not so clear, but the trailer skillfully demonstrates the possibilities of the system.

Time does things well

Matthieu Schneider, director of Sand Door, has nothing but praise for the support of Quantic Dream and the opportunities offered by Spotlight. ““It is a source of pride to have grown the studio and the ambition of the project. The collaboration with Quantic Dream brought a lot of added value to Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior, through various creative proposals and support throughout production. This collaboration is a real asset to the game, and we can’t wait for players around the world to discover our project!“We can imagine that being pushed by a big box to make your first project a reality, it gives rise to a handful of happy feelings. Hoping that the collaboration is really as sweet internally.

Lysfanga does not yet have a release date, and will be confined to the PC. This will be the second project published under the Spotlight label after the narrative game Under the Waves, which takes us to the depths of the ocean to explore the themes of mourning and the destruction of the ecosystem.
