M6: departure of Nicolas de Tavernost from the presidency of the group (Le Figaro)

(AOF) – In the wake of the annual results published by M6 this Tuesday, Nicolas de Tavernost, in office for 37 years, indicated in an interview with Le Figaro that he was leaving the presidency of the group as of April 23. David Larramendy, current general director of M6 Publicité, was proposed as his successor. “My departure was postponed several times, notably linked to exceptional circumstances: the merger project with TF1 which lasted two years and which ultimately did not come to fruition and the call for applications for frequency 6 for which we had to to fight”, evokes the leader in Le Figaro.

On David Larramendy, Nicolas de Tavernost declares that “he joined the M6 group 16 years ago now. He is a talented professional with strong experience in management and excellent results in advertising management.”
