While “Year Zero” has just bowed out, M6 has just announced three original fiction projects, in particular a series on the November 13 attacks carried by Vincent Elbaz.
The year 2023 will be placed under the sign of fiction for M6. After Year Zero, The Man of Our Lives and The House Opposite, the channel has just announced to our colleagues from Parisian that three new original series will soon start filming.
The first will be an adaptation of The Spies of Terror, an investigation by journalist Matthieu Suc published in 2018 which takes us to the heart of the French secret services in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of November 13, 2015.
Composed of 4 episodes of 52 minutes, produced by Tetra Media Fiction, to whom we owe in particular Paris Police 1900 or Vernon Subutex and Quintessence fictions, and created by Franck Philippon (Open Heart Investigation), this series will be led by Fleur Geffrier (Aim for the heart), Rachida Brakni (Baron Noir) and Vincent Elbaz, who was recently on the poster of Syndrome E on TF1.
The three actors will respectively play Lucie, Malika and Vincent, intelligence agents who did everything possible to arrest those responsible for the November 13 attacks.
Rodolphe Tissot, who notably worked on So Be They and The Last Wave, will be in charge of the production. Filming will begin on January 23.
Eric Cantona will be the star of a 2×52 minute fiction inspired by real events. In Les Anonymes, the former footballer turned actor will slip into the skin of Castaneda, an outlaw ready to join the ranks in order to offer a better life to his daughter.
For this, he does odd jobs. But when the latter disappears, he does not intend to sit idly by. He will then track down the kidnapper with the help of people like him, anonymous people with no privileges or diplomas. Antisystem, kings of resourcefulness and close to people, and if Castaneda and his team were the best placed to find her?
The actor, who notably cut his teeth in Le Voyageur and Dérapages, will be surrounded by Arié Elmaleh (Criminal Tropics), Marilyn Lima (Skam France, The best of us), Célia Lebrument (Syndrome E) and Helena Noguerra ( The Substitute, The Man of our Lives).
Produced by Bonne Pioche Story, Les Anonymes, which will begin filming this Monday January 16 near Angoulême, will be directed by Julien Seri (The Devil’s Jump 2, Astrid and Raphaëlle). The screenplay was entrusted to Déborah Hadjedj-Jarmon, Bruno Lecigne (La Doc et le Véto) and Florian Spitzer (Clem, Escape).
Finally, M6 announced a final fiction project, entitled Tessa, which will be freely inspired by the story of singer Tessae. Victim of school harassment, the young girl from Marseille had found her salvation in music.
She will be interpreted for the occasion by Charlie Loiselier, a young actress revealed in the musical comedy of France TV Slash ReuSSS. M6 also revealed that one of the main roles will be held by a popular singer who will take his first steps as an actor, but his name is still being kept secret.
