Mach V1 Ultra: Eufy launches the first cordless steam floor cleaner

While steam cleaners all need to be plugged into the mains, Eufy’s Mach V1 Ultra is a game changer. Cordless, this broom sucks up small waste and washes the floor, like many devices on the market, and adds steam if necessary. And this is where the originality of the latest addition to the brand lies.

With the Mach V1 Ultra, Eufy offers greater freedom of movement to the user, who is no longer limited by the length of the electrical wire. According to the manufacturer, the battery of the floor cleaner would offer 82 minutes of autonomy. We doubt, however, that such a figure can be reached if the user decides to regularly activate the steam option, a process that consumes the most energy.

And that’s why the Mach V1 Ultra tickles our curiosity. Indeed, manufacturers of steam cleaners all opt for corded devices because of the power required for the production of steam. With its wireless broom, Eufy offers an innovative device in the sector.

The floor cleaner is also able to dry the floor after it has passed through. An air outlet placed at the back of the broom is automatically activated during cleaning. This feature prevents water marks on the floor and perfects the result after washing.

The first version of the floor cleaner offered by Eufy, the Mach V1, does not have these two features. However, the two devices share similarities.

First of all, in addition to steam, the Eufy would be able to destroy most bacteria and germs thanks to the production of ozone. This gas appears as a natural solution for disinfecting surfaces; without having recourse, therefore, to additional products.

But for those who want it, a floor cleaner can be added to the clean water tank with a capacity of 820 ml. Eufy is also proud to have equipped its mop with a Tesla valve to perfectly mix the cleaning solution with clear water.

To recharge the broom, a base is delivered with the device. When the Mach V1 Ultra is placed on it, the user can start the self-cleaning process. The broom then cleans its roller with the cleaning solution, then sterilizes it thanks to the production of ozone, before drying it to prevent the appearance of germs and bad smells.

If the Eufy Mach V1 Ultra is very complete, these technologies have a price. The floor cleaner is offered at 800 €. As for the previous model, the Mach V1, it is available at around 600 €.
