A 56-year-old cable car employee was injured late Friday afternoon after a deflagration occurred in the course of a fire in an electrical system in the mountain station of the Bibergbahn in Saalfelden.
The danger emanating from the fire was quickly averted by the Saalfelden fire brigade. The worker was taken to the hospital by ambulance with unspecified injuries. The investigations into the cause of the fire are still ongoing.
