Macron announces new international aid of more than 100 ME to Moldova


PARIS, Nov 21 (Reuters) – Moldova will receive more than 100 million euros in new international aid to deal with the fallout from the war in Ukraine, Emmanuel Macron announced on Monday.

“In order to meet the immediate needs, we have decided (…) a new exceptional envelope of more than 100 million euros”, said the French president during a press conference with his Moldovan counterpart, Maia Sandu, at the end of the 3rd Ministerial Conference in support of Moldova, which brought together 45 international delegations in Paris, notably representing the European Union and the United States.
