Madonna is apparently planning a documentary about her troubled "Madame X" tour in collaboration with Netflix.

Madonna (62, "Like A Prayer") wants to give her fans a unique insight behind the scenes – and she has brought a strong partner on board for this. As the British tabloid "The Sun" reports, the "Queen of Pop" is planning a documentary together with the streaming provider Netflix about her troubled "Madame X" tour.

Exclusive images from in front of and behind the stage are to be shown. The recordings from the backstage area could be particularly interesting. Because Madonna had to struggle with a persistent knee injury throughout the tour, which repeatedly forced the singer to take longer breaks. Numerous concerts on the tour, for example in Lisbon or Paris, had to be canceled at short notice on the advice of their doctors.

The now 62-year-old had kept her fans up to date on her health status on social media. Above all, she repeatedly showed the treatment method for her knee problems in videos: an ice bath.

And the beginning of the corona pandemic could also be a topic in the documentary. The "Madame X" tour should have been to Paris until March 11, 2020. After the French government banned events with more than 1,000 people in order to stop the spread of the coronavirus, Madonna had to cancel the last three concerts of her tour in Paris.
