Five tips for a good life: Madonna shares her “house rules”, not only for her children.

Superstar Madonna (64) shows her “house rules”. In one of her Instagram Stories, the singer recently shared a picture of herself holding a chalkboard. You can see her private house rules.

Rule number 1 is “Smile”. “Be happy” is rule number 2. Rule 3 is “listen to others”. Number 4 says “be kind” and finally rule 5 is “be content with what you have”.

Madonna as a mother a challenge for her children

As recently as January, Madonna had in the magazine “Vanity Fair” talked about her life as a mother. In the interview, which was only published in Italy, France and Spain, she admits that the life of her children with her as a mother is certainly “a challenge”.

Daughter Lourdes Leon (25) can sing a song about it. “My mom is such a control freak, she’s been controlling me my whole life,” she said in a 2021 conversation “Interview Magazine”. Madonna also attaches great importance to not spoiling her children too much.

Motherhood as the “toughest fight”

Life as a mother is also difficult for Madonna herself, “the hardest struggle”. “To this day I still struggle with understanding how to be a mom and how to do my job,” she told Vanity Fair.

“Whoever you are, having children and raising them is a work of art,” she continued. “No one gives you instructions. You have to learn from mistakes. It’s a job that takes a lot of time. And it’s exhausting because there’s never a rest”.

Madonna has five children. After Lourdes, son Rocco (22) was born. There are also three adopted children: Mercy James (17) and the ten-year-old twins Stelle and Estere.
