Maëlys case: Nordahl Lelandais consulted pornography in prison and exchanged with a high school student

Asked about his career this Wednesday afternoon, Nordahl Lelandais spoke of his life in detention. The lawyers for the civil party questioned him in particular about the exchanges he had with a high school student from Chambéry when he was in prison, as well as about the pornographic videos he would have consulted.

Nordahl Lelandais said he tried “to be better day by day”, and regularly consult a psychiatrist in prison, in particular to work on his “addictions”. He admitted, during this third day of hearing, to having a sex addiction, but claims to have changed and evolved since 2017.

Maëlys’ mother’s lawyer, Me Rajon, however, pointed out that the accused had managed to obtain a mobile phone during his detention, which he used to communicate with a high school girl. “She told me she was in her twenties and wanted to chat with me. The prison administration put an end to it,” he said.

In addition to this exchange with this young woman, the lawyer for the civil party also mentioned the searches he had been able to carry out on the Internet with this same telephone, in particular on pornographic sites. According to the elements of the file, Nordahl Lelandais consulted videos belonging to the categories “adolescent”, “small” or “teen”.

The lawyer then underlined: “one can wonder when one consults videos which are called “my little teenage sister makes me cum on her sexy panties”. “I have never been on a child pornography site, and I insist on never, argued the accused before Mr. Rajon. There is nothing child pornography, these are not child pornography images.

Questions that weaken the defense of Nordahl Lelandais. If the prosecution for the rape of Maëlys was dismissed for lack of material evidence, the question of a sexual motive for his murder is at the heart of the trial, hence the questions of the court on the sexual attractions of the accused.
