Maëlys trial: life imprisonment required against Nordahl Lelandais

“Why this murderous rage? », asked the Advocate General before the Assize Court of Isère, Thursday, after two hours of indictment. Unsurprisingly, Jacques Dallest requested life imprisonment, with a 22-year security period against Nordahl Lelandais. If the three weeks of trial did not lift the veil on the many gray areas of the case, the representative of the public prosecutor said he was convinced that the “sexual motive” was behind the kidnapping, kidnapping and murder of Maëlys in August 2017.
