Fans of virtual mafiosi can look forward to Mafia 4, because developer Hangar 13 has announced a new game in the series. The studio even commented on the release date.

If you want to slip back into the role of cunning mafiosi on PC or console, you can look forward to a new game in the series, which may be called Mafia 4. Developer Hangar 13 announced it in an interview.
“I’m delighted to officially announce that development work on the new Mafia game has begun! While the release is still a few years away and we are unable to share any further details at this time, we can’t wait to continue the popular saga and immerse our fans in new stories,” says Roman Hladik in an interview on the series’ official website.
Release still far away
So it will be a long time before the game comes out. However, if a release date is set, you can find it in our game release list.
In 2016, Hangar Mafia released 3, which was only moderately well received by critics and fans. In 2020 the Mafia Trilogy was launched with improved Definitive Editions of Mafia 1 to 3.
