“Magic in Vienna” – Truly magical like a hundred years ago

Truly “magical moments” were created by Thommy Ten and Amélie van Tass in the Vienna State Opera. For the first time ever, magicians from Lower Austria were allowed to perform in the first house on the Ring. A premiere that was crowned with the resurgence of historical feats of centuries-old Viennese magical greats.

It was another milestone in her career. On Sunday evening Thommy Ten and Amélie van Tass wrote magic history in Vienna at the sold out State Opera. As the first magician ever, they were allowed to present their show here. “It is a great honor for us that this was possible,” said the two Kremser overjoyed after the successful premiere. After months of preparation – the program was specially developed for this evening – they were rewarded with thunderous applause and standing ovations. There were tricks by Viennese magicians to see like a hundred years ago.

The dismantling began that same night, because the tour bus is already taking the tour bus towards Villach, where the two will be performing on Wednesday. Then Eisenstadt and Linz follow – there are still tickets left. “We want to perform at home as much as possible before we leave for Las Vegas,” explains Thommy Ten. At the same time, the house search is running in America, but so far without success.

And the next happy announcement is not long in coming: In 2023 “Magic in Vienna” is to be repeated. The discussions are ongoing – so that the centuries-old tradition of magic in Vienna continues!
