LEGO has not finished tempting construction fans with new and superb sets arriving throughout the summer. This is particularly the case for this popular magic license.
The magic of Harry Potter will invite itself into the homes of apprentice sorcerer builders who are LEGO fans. The German retailer Lucky Bricks has in fact revealed no less than six sets centered on the famous wizard and his adventures. It’s their Gringotts bank account that’s not going to be happy.
The summer LEGO Harry Potters are revealed brick by brick
LEGO certainly has no shortage of ideas to tempt fans of different licenses. Between the different superheroes from the Marvel universe, DC Comics, Star Wars and other popular franchises, the brand is spoiled for choice. This will be the case for Harry Potter fans too, thanks to a magical volley of sets coming this summer.
Let’s start with the more modest LEGO sets, numbered 76427, 76433 and 76434. These respectively present the hipogriff Buck, a mandrake from the Botany course and the famous spider Aragog, friend of Hagrid, who poses some webbed marigolds with his children to LEGO versions of Harry and Ron.
We then have much hairier, and more imposing sets, numbered 76431, 76435, 76439. Respectively, these represent the famous Potions class with the figures of Severus Snape, Pansy Parkinson, Seamus Finnigan and Hermione Granger. Then comes the famous and rather well modeled Great Hall of Hogwarts. In addition to a large structure, this LEGO set also includes numerous figurines, including a giant, Albus Dumbledore, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Luna Lovegood and even Nymphadora Tonks. Finally, we have two shops in Diagon Alley: that of the wand maker Olivander and Madame Malkin’s Robes, also including its batch of figurines.
We save the most impressive for last with set 76440. This uses the means of transport of the other schools of magic invited to the Goblet of Fire tournament. We thus find the ship of the Dumstrang school and the carriage pulled by a unicorn from Beauxbatons. The set also includes a figurine of the Goblet of Fire, as well as those of Viktor Krum and Barty Crouch.
