Magnum: death of actor Roger E. Mosley


Actor Roger E. Mosley, known to fans of the “Magnum” series with Tom Selleck in which he played the famous helicopter pilot “TC” Calvin, has died at the age of 83.

His face was well known to fans of the Magnum series. Roger E. Mosley played helicopter pilot Theodore “Terry” Calvin in the television series. Friend of Thomas Magnum, Rick and Higgins, his character appears between 1980 and 1988 in 156 episodes of the 162 that make up the series. The actor died at the age of 83 this Sunday morning. The causes of his death are not known.

Born in December 1938 in Los Angeles, Roger E. Mosley grew up in the district of Watts, which will be sadly famous for the riots which took place there in August 1965 and left 34 dead. After small roles in series in 1971-1972 and that of a truck driver in the formidable detective film The Cops do not sleep at night, he will begin to stand out in The Mac, a classic of Blacksploitation.
