Maisons du Monde: The Teleios fund has bought shares and holds 24.84% of the capital


PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The investment fund Teleios Capital Partners acquired Maisons du Monde shares on the market and held on June 16 24.84% of the capital and voting rights of the distributor of furniture and decorative items, according to a statement released Tuesday by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).

According to documents provided by Maisons du Monde, Teleios Capital Partners held 21.52% of its capital as of December 31, 2021.

Main shareholder of Maisons du Monde, Teleios Capital Partners “does not plan to take control” of the company and “wishes to carefully monitor the implementation of the strategy” of its board of directors, according to its declaration of intent for the next six months sent to the AMF.

Teleios Capital Partners also plans to acquire additional shares based on the price of Maisons du Monde shares, but does not intend to request the appointment of additional directors to its board of directors.

On the Paris Stock Exchange, the Maisons du Monde share rose 1%, to 10.19 euros.
