Two suspects arrested
Since then, investigations have been underway against several suspects, and the police were supposed to execute two arrest orders from the Ried public prosecutor’s office that evening – which they succeeded in doing. A 30-year-old and a 39-year-old from the Vöcklabruck district were stopped by officers while they were driving. “The younger one already has two previous convictions for assault and theft, the older one has no criminal record. Nobody has confessed, while one remains silent, the other denies any guilt,” says Alois Ebner from the Ried public prosecutor’s office.
