What can coffee peeling do?

Coffee grounds can be used wonderfully as a peeling all over the body and especially on the face. The homemade cosmetic product scores with purely natural ingredients and cares for the skin. The caffeine content also makes for one good blood circulation. This is done with the coffee peeling old flakes of skin removed and cell renewal stimulated. Make coffee peeling yourself: recipes

Hints:

  • The coffee grounds and not the fresh coffee powder are used for the peeling. The coffee grounds are created as a by-product when the coffee is brewed anyway and are thus optimally used!
  • The coffee grounds should be used to prepare the scrub no longer moist, but preferably dried be. To do this, you spread it out on a baking sheet, for example, and let it dry in the sun or in the oven for a few minutes. Warning: If you use fresh coffee grounds for the peeling, it is not suitable for storing, as there is a risk of mold.
  • Use organic coffee – this will ensure that no pesticides have been used in the cultivation.

Coffee oil peeling

You need:

  • 4 tbsp coffee grounds (dried)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  1. Mix the coffee grounds and coconut oil together.
  2. Then apply the coffee peeling as a face peeling or body peeling and let it take effect briefly.
  3. Then rinse off the peeling thoroughly.

Durability: Place the scrub in a sealable mason jar. Store in the refrigerator and use within a few days.

Coffee and sugar scrub

  • 1 tbsp coffee grounds (dried)
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  1. Mix the coffee grounds with sugar.
  2. Use the coffee scrub on your face or body and then rinse it off.

Durability: If the coffee grounds are well dried, the peeling will last for a few weeks.

Coffee, sugar, honey and olive oil scrub

  • 4 tbsp coffee grounds (dried)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (high quality)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  1. Mix the four ingredients together: The consistency should be creamy and not too oily.
  2. If necessary, some coffee grounds can be added.
  3. Apply the scrub, then rinse it off thoroughly.

Durability: The peeling can be kept in the refrigerator for a few days in a sealed jar.

Coffee peeling: application

  • You can use a coffee scrub on the skin (body and face). More than once or twice a week you shouldn't use it, however, as it could irritate the skin. Find out what is good for your skin! You should be a little more careful with dry and sensitive skin.
  • Facial peeling: Apply the coffee scrub to your cleansed face in gentle, circular movements. Avoid the eye area. Don't apply pressure as the skin on your face is more sensitive. After a short exposure time, rinse off the coffee grounds with lukewarm water. Before you apply another care product, you should give your skin up to ten minutes of rest after the peeling.
  • As Body peeling the coffee grounds can be easily applied in the shower. So you can then wash everything away without any problems. Rub a small portion of peeling (about the size of a walnut) on your skin in a circular motion. Continue the massage for up to three minutes before rinsing off the coffee scrub with cold water.

Coffee peeling for the hair

And here's an extra tip for beautiful hair:

Mix fresh coffee grounds with either a little honey or olive oil. Then you add some more shampoo. When washing your hair, simply massage the mixture into your hair and scalp. After an exposure time of up to three minutes, rinse everything thoroughly. The caffeine is said to strengthen the hair roots and promote hair growth.
