Make Easter presents: A small bouquet of flowers
The flower greeting made of egg shells looks great on every set Easter table and lets spring come straight in:
For this you need:
- Egg carton (paint with acrylic paint if you like)
- white eggs
- waterproof pen
- flower
That’s how it’s done:
- Break eggs in at the top, empty and then clean. The opening at the top should be wide enough for the Easter eggs to serve as a vase.
- Then draw the faces on the eggs with a waterproof pen and insert flowers.
Make Easter gifts for gardeners
Herbs fresh from the egg – such a pretty little herb bed grows by itself! Thoroughly clean the empty eggs and then fill them with some soil or a kitchen towel. Then sow cress and make sure to keep the small cress plants moist … and gardening luck should be in sight after a few days!

Make a thread picture with an Easter motif
For a thread picture you need:
- a piece of wood/tree disc
- nails
- hammer
- wool/yarn
That’s how it’s done:
- Transfer your motif to the wood. If you are not good at drawing freehand, simply cut out a popular Easter motif from paper and trace the outlines with a pencil.
- Drive in nails at regular intervals. Make sure they sit evenly deep.
- Knot the beginning of the thread on a nail and stretch it criss-cross around the following nails. So that the thread pattern is more stable, it is best to put a loop around individual nails.
- Now the entire outline of the motif can be traced again with the thread. To do this, guide the thread partly along the inside and outside of the nails – this is the only way it will hold up.
- Knot the end of the thread at the end.
Make Easter bunnies
These little Easter bunnies hide all over the apartment at Easter: whether on the Easter table, in the Easter basket or in the flower arrangement. Especially nice: They are all individually designed and can be made with little effort.

- For an Easter bunny, cut out the motif twice from the handicraft felt.
- Then start sewing the two pieces together with a simple backstitch. After each curve you push some cotton wool until you have circled the motif with the backstitch.
- Embroider the face of the Easter bunny on the front felt. Finished!
Make funny Easter eggs and egg cups

- You can easily make the egg shells by threading wooden balls onto a ribbon and tying the ribbon at the end.
