Easter is fast approaching and we want to make friends and family happy! Here we show you how you can make sweet Easter gifts with little effort.

Whether it’s your best friend or family – everyone is happy about a little Easter greeting! In most cases, you don’t even need a lot of preparation to be able to make small Easter gifts: Often, a few simple handicraft materials are enough and after a few minutes you have a unique and individual gift in your hands…

Make Easter presents: A small bouquet of flowers

The flower greeting made of egg shells looks great on every set Easter table and lets spring come straight in:

For this you need:

  • Egg carton (paint with acrylic paint if you like)
  • white eggs
  • waterproof pen
  • flower

That’s how it’s done:

  1. Break eggs in at the top, empty and then clean. The opening at the top should be wide enough for the Easter eggs to serve as a vase.
  2. Then draw the faces on the eggs with a waterproof pen and insert flowers.

Make Easter gifts for gardeners

Herbs fresh from the egg – such a pretty little herb bed grows by itself! Thoroughly clean the empty eggs and then fill them with some soil or a kitchen towel. Then sow cress and make sure to keep the small cress plants moist … and gardening luck should be in sight after a few days!

Make a thread picture with an Easter motif

For a thread picture you need:

  • a piece of wood/tree disc
  • nails
  • hammer
  • wool/yarn

That’s how it’s done:

  1. Transfer your motif to the wood. If you are not good at drawing freehand, simply cut out a popular Easter motif from paper and trace the outlines with a pencil.
  2. Drive in nails at regular intervals. Make sure they sit evenly deep.
  3. Knot the beginning of the thread on a nail and stretch it criss-cross around the following nails. So that the thread pattern is more stable, it is best to put a loop around individual nails.
  4. Now the entire outline of the motif can be traced again with the thread. To do this, guide the thread partly along the inside and outside of the nails – this is the only way it will hold up.
  5. Knot the end of the thread at the end.

Make Easter bunnies

These little Easter bunnies hide all over the apartment at Easter: whether on the Easter table, in the Easter basket or in the flower arrangement. Especially nice: They are all individually designed and can be made with little effort.

You need:

That’s how it’s done:

  1. For an Easter bunny, cut out the motif twice from the handicraft felt.
  2. Then start sewing the two pieces together with a simple backstitch. After each curve you push some cotton wool until you have circled the motif with the backstitch.
  3. Embroider the face of the Easter bunny on the front felt. Finished!

Make funny Easter eggs and egg cups

These painted Easter eggs and the stylish egg holders really make us ecstatic and make our Easter table decorations an eye-catcher!

  • You can easily make the egg shells by threading wooden balls onto a ribbon and tying the ribbon at the end.
  • The Easter eggs can be designed into a small animal colony in individual steps: It is best to use a fine, waterproof pen for the eyes, nose and mouth. Additional paints and brushes are required for penguin and panda.

At Easter there is a lucky egg…

A lucky egg instead of a fortune cookie – Easter brings twice the luck and the small craft idea can also be implemented quickly. Blow out white eggs and put a small piece of paper with a nice saying in the hole.
