We all know and hate them: makeup disasters that happen to us all the time. We tell you how you can easily avoid them.

Did you wear sunglasses?

We all know and hate it: When it’s sunny and bright outside, we naturally wear sunglasses. If we then take the good piece off again, you can clearly see exactly where the glasses were sitting. Because at exactly these points the Foundation says goodbye – ciao! Powder over it, apply more foundation – none of this helps. The footprints are here to stay. That is why you should take action BEFORE. Simply apply less foundation to the nose – as little as possible. If there are nasty marks, then that is the sign that you have too much product on your nose. A high opacity is not absolutely necessary on the nose.

Foundation stamps off

Have you ever not powdered your foundation and then got annoyed that the product is hanging almost everywhere? On the jacket collar, the pullover edge, the partner? Do we know. Unfortunately, no powder at all is no solution either. But if you have very dry skin, then you should definitely use the right primer. It creates a kind of barrier between skin and make-up, so that the skin does not look so dry. Powders off at least minimally – a loose powder usually does not look so dry. Then you can freshen up the finish with an illuminating setting spray. The skin doesn’t look dry, but the foundation stays where it should be. in your face

Crusty Lips

Anyone who has ever worn Liquid Lipstick knows that it can either look super pretty or super gross. Some liquid lipsticks tend to “break open”. It will look like you have a lot of little cracks in your lipstick. It doesn’t just look like it, it actually is. How can you avoid this? Not at all. The only thing that helps is to use a different product or a different formulation. Anyone who already has dry lips will not be very happy with dry formulations anyway. Either apply a really good (!) lip balm under the Liquid Lipstick or choose textures with the finish Velvet Matte (velvety matt).

flashback

When we take photos with flash, it often happens that there is a so-called flashback effect. Means: White veils on the face or under the eyes. This usually happens when we wear products on the face that are illuminating. The light-reflecting pigments in it shine back as soon as the flash is used. Multiple layers of such products and powders enhance the effect even more. And how do we prevent that now? Be sure to apply little product and use matte textures – this way you need less powder and have no illuminating pigments that spoil the perfect photo.

You’ve probably noticed that your foundation settles into wrinkles after a certain period of time that you didn’t even know you had. This is very easy to prevent: you should carefully tap the foundation in with your finger when applying it. In general, a tapping motion when applying foundation can help prevent it from settling so much – whether you use your fingers, a brush or a sponge.
