DAKAR, Feb 18 (Reuters) – The transitional government in power in Bamako said on Friday that France’s decision to withdraw its forces from Mali, announced on Thursday, violated bilateral agreements between the two countries.
A spokesman for the ruling military junta told national television that Mali had called on France to withdraw its troops without delay and under the supervision of the Malian authorities. (Bate Felix report, French version Myriam Rivet, edited by Jean-Stéphane Brosse)
