Malia Obama is on cloud nine! The daughter of former US President Barack Obama appears to be taken again and is enjoying her new relationship to the fullest.
Malia Obama, 24, couldn’t be happier. The daughter of Barack Obama, 61, and his wife Michelle, 58, has been spotted several times since July 26, 2022 with a new companion believed to be her new partner. The British newspaper “Daily Mail” now wants to know more about the young man who won the hearts of the Harvard graduates.
This is Malia Obama’s new boyfriend Dawit Eklund
Dawit Eklund, said to be the lucky one, is the son of Jon Eklund, 72, a retired US State Department official who has worked at several US embassies in Africa. His mother, Yeshi, 66, comes from a very successful Ethiopian business family. Dawit is currently making a career as a co-founder of the record label “1432 R”, which focuses on Ethiopian music.
Malia Obama and Dawid Eklund were first spotted together in late July.

In Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, Dawit first attended the International Community College and then studied “International Development in Africa” at George Washington University. Malia, on the other hand, moved to Los Angeles last year. After graduating from Harvard University, she plans to pursue a career as a screenwriter.
Previously, Malia was dating a fellow student
Before her relationship with Dawit, Malia’s heart belonged to fellow Harvard student Rory Farquharson. However, the turtle between her and Dawid Eklund is said to have led to Malia and Rory splitting up.
But now Malia seems happier than ever with her new love Dawid. Watching this was especially true when the couple left the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Snapshots clearly show Malia lovingly putting her arm around her new boyfriend’s neck. They laugh at each other and dreamily look into each other’s eyes – love can be so beautiful!
