Do you have an Android device and bitcoins? Then you are in the sights of the Trojan MaliBot. He wants to steal your passwords and crypto wallet.

The banking Trojan MaliBot is targeting, among other things, the crypto wallet on your Android smartphone. But that’s not all. The malware is able to take over your display and also wants to grab your Google data.
Unnoticed, MaliBot collects all cookies and passwords found in connection with your Google account. What makes the Trojan even more dangerous is the fact that it is able to read codes from Google Authenticator. This means that even if you use two-factor authentication for security, the criminals behind the malware can still access your accounts.
The Hacker News reports that the malware gets onto your smartphone disguised as a mining app such as Mining X or The CryptoApp. These are offered on dubious websites. We advise you never to download any application outside of the official app stores.
