Man (27) injured – hit and run: Police are looking for witnesses after a bicycle accident

A 27-year-old cyclist in Innsbruck was cut by a car turning off at an intersection. The man fell and was injured. The car with license plates from the Kufstein district continued its journey without stopping.

At the intersection of Dorfgasse / Hinterwaldnerstrasse in Innsbruck on November 22nd at around 8:20 am there was an encounter between a 27-year-old cyclist from Germany and a currently unknown car (color brown, “KU” license plate) If the driver of the car unexpectedly turned west into Hinterwalderstrasse for the cyclist, the cyclist had to brake hard to prevent a collision, in which he fell and was injured to an indefinite degree. The driver of the car continued his journey without stopping. Appropriate information on identifying the fugitive is requested from the Innsbruck Transport Inspectorate.
