But Pep Guardiola can count on a major asset, Erving Halland, where Thomas Tuchel will have to do without his striker Erc Maxim Choupo-Moting. “I try to determine their qualities in all areas of the game. It would have been difficult with Julian Nagelsmann and it will be difficult with Tuchel too,” said Pep Guardiola, who spent three seasons in charge of Bayern between 2013 and 2016. He led the Bavarian club to three Bundesliga titles but with him posted a clean sheet in the Champions League after winning it twice with Barcelona (2009 and 2011).
